Elizabeth A. "Bette" (Booth) Shaw
lifelong resident of Dracut, MA; 74

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI -- Elizabeth A. "Bette" (Booth) Shaw, 74, died peacefully December 2, 2012 at South County Hospital in Rhode Island, surrounded by her loving family after living a lifetime of love and laughter. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul W. Shaw 82nd Airborne to whom she was married for 46 years (God bless her).

A lifelong resident of Dracut, MA, she relocated to North Kingstown, RI in her later years to enjoy the seaside and adventure with her son Capt. Paul W. Shaw II.

She enjoyed the outdoors with her family and friends including sailing and car shows, and always enjoyed a cold beer. Always willing to try something new, she was eager for adventure, and made those around her comfortable with her warm smile. She loved animals and also enjoyed her birds name "Bonnie & Clyde" for obvious reasons. Never more than a kind word was ever spoken regarding others, and she surely earned her place in Heaven being an Irish mother.

She is survived by her son, Capt. Paul W. Shaw II of North Kingstown, RI; her daughters, Colleen Demers of Pelham, NH and Lisa Scalley of Dracut, MA; eight grandchildren, Benjamin and Nicholas Demers, Shawn Scalley, Michael II, Brittany, Matthew, Patrick and Ryan Shaw. All her grandchildren excel in sports. She was mother of the late Michael Shaw; and sister of the late Raymond Booth.

SHAW -- Visitation will be held FRIDAY, December 7, 2012 from 8:30 - 9:30 am in the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut, MA, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Michael Church, 543 Bridge Street, Lowell, MA.
