Elizabeth H. Fadden Obituary
Elizabeth H. Fadden
May 29, 1949 - Feb.18, 2014

Betsy, as she was known to us, was a red headed Irish lass who lost her battle with cancer after a heart rending fight. She never let cancer define her and faced it with dignity, grace and humor. She was truly an amazing woman. A lover of animals and nature, she had great appreciation for both, and found great joy in all the little things around her every day. She was loved by many and will be desperately missed by all.

She was born, raised and educated in Lowell, Mass. and worked for 35 years in the Electronics Industry as a Methods Analyst and Purchasing Agent. Upon her retirement in 2003, she and her spouse moved to Madison, Maine. Her spouse of 40 years, Sandra J. Benoit, survives her along with her son, John F. Fadden. John, formerly of Lowell, now resides in Londonderry, N.H. with his wife, Loretta Barney Fadden and their beautiful daughter, Ryanna.

Betsy was the daughter of the late William Nelson Fadden and Mary Francis McErlane Fadden, both of Lowell's Pawtucketville area and both deceased.

Beside her spouse and her son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter, she is also survived by her loving sister and friend, Catherine Gail Fadden of Lowell, Mass.

One other sister, Anne Scott of Arizona.

Betsy has many dearly loved cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends who were like sisters to Betsy and helped her to fight the fight were Beverly Hewy and Deb Villandry and Sharon Ness, all of Maine. God Bless you all, Betsy loved you as she loved Catherine Gail, Sisters ALL!

Beside the humans that Betsy leaves behind, she also leaves her beloved pets, Scooter, Baily and Kinsey, They send their Momma Betsy lots and lots of hugs and kisses.

Betsy had four siblings who preceded her in death, Mary Rita Fadden Rygeil, William Fadden, Robert Fadden and Peter Fadden, all of Lowell, Mass.

A memorial Mass will be held at a future date. The news of this celebration will be announced in the Lowell Sun when a date is determined. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local animal shelter .
