Beloved wife, mother, grandmother
and great-grandmother

TEWKSBURY -- Elizabeth J. (Secrist) (McCullock) Searles, age 73, a Tewksbury resident for 43 years, passed away at her home, on Saturday, December 1, 2012, with her family by her side.

She was the beloved wife of Irving J. Searles, with whom she celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary on October 25, 2012.

Born in Boston on October 24, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Ward Secrist and the late Esther (Lawson) Secrist.

Elizabeth was raised in Everett and Somerville. She attended local schools and graduated from Somerville High School.

She resided in Somerville until moving to Tewksbury in 1969.

Mrs. Searles was an avid bingo player and enjoyed her weekly games at the Tewksbury Elks. In addition, she enjoyed sewing and quilting and was a former member of the Hannah Dustin Quilt Guild of Hudson, NH.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by ten children, Craig R. Searles of Moultonborough, NH, Colleen A. Leach of Nashua, NH, Irving J. Searles, Jr. of Merrimack, NH, Robin D. Rutledge of Tewksbury, MA, Robert A. McCullock of Chelmsford, MA, Nancy A. Parent of Derry, NH, Michael A. Searles of Meredith, NH, Lori C. Cavanaugh of Lawrence, MA, Joseph A. Searles of Lowell, MA, and Jennie L. Foote of Tewksbury, MA; also 22 grandchildren, 26 great- grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth was the sister of the late Ward Secrist, Jr.
SEARLES -- Elizabeth J. (Secrist) (McCullock). Calling hours are Wednesday, Dec. 5, from 5-8 p.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 6, at 10 a.m., in the funeral home. Interment to follow at Tewksbury Cemetery.
