NASHUA - Estelle C. (Poisson) Decker, 88,

a resident of Chelmsford, MA passed away peacefully on June 9, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late James A. Decker.

Born in Lowell, MA on June 2nd, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Ludger and Eva (Berard) Poisson.

Estelle graduated from Saint Louis Academy in Lowell and worked for many years as a Lab Technician at St. John's and St. Joseph's Hospitals. She was most recently employed at Lowell General Hospital as a Concierge.

Estelle enjoyed travel, dancing, knitting, classical music, opera, summers at the camp on Rock Pond in Windham, NH, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a longtime parishioner of Saint Mary Church in Chelmsford, MA.

Estelle is survived by her brother Arthur Poisson of Palm Beach, FL, and leaves five children: James M. Decker and his wife Diane of Dracut, MA, David W. Decker and his Wife Elizabeth of Nashua, NH, Allan J. Decker and his wife Colleen of Dracut, MA, Kevin J. Decker and his Wife Lesley of Derry, NH and Allyson M. Thibeault and her Husband David of Dracut, MA, ten grandchildren: Eric, Jason, Daniel and Dustin Decker, Brittany Decker, Randall Decker, Douglas Moran and Julian, Jamie and Sean Thibeault, and three great-grandchildren: Ella Decker and Weston and Olive Thibeault. She also leaves many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Estelle was predeceased by her siblings: Leo Poisson, Armand Poisson, Doris Poisson, Andy Poisson, Agnes (Poisson) Brand and Claire (Poisson) Contardo.

DECKER - Visiting hours will be held from 5 to 8 pm on Thursday at the BLAKE CHELMSFORD FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen St., CHELMSFORD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11 o'clock at St. Mary Parish, 25 North Rd., CHELMSFORD. KINDLY MEET AT CHURCH. Interment to follow at St. Patrick Cemetery, Lowell.
