AYER -- Gerald F. Trinque, 75, of Ayer, died unexpectedly Sunday, January 20, 2013, at his home.

Mr. Trinque was born in Middleboro, May 10, 1937, one of eleven children born to J. Dennis and Blanche (Smith) Trinque and was a graduate of Middleboro High School. He has resided in Ayer for nearly forty years.

For 21 years Mr. Trinque served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam era, retiring in 1976 at the rank of Tech Sergeant. Following his retirement from the armed services, Mr. Trinque worked at Fort Devens in a Civil Service capacity before retiring in 1996.

He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans.

He leaves his wife of 56 years, Joyce M. (Fuller) Trinque; two sons and daughters-in-law, Donald A. and Wendy Trinque of Ayer, Carl D. and Theresa Trinque of Winchendon; a daughter, Virginia D. Williams and her fiancee, Joseph Morin of Lowell; a brother, Lawrence Trinque and his wife, Marylou, of Florida; two sisters, Beverly VanHouten of Florida, Eleanor Carriero of Middleboro; a brother-in-law, Anthony Prinzo of Middleboro, sister-in-law, Shirley Baker of Epping, NH; twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Theodore Trinque, Louis Trinque, Shirley Prinzo all of Middleboro.

TRINQUE -- Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, January 26th at the T.J. Anderson & Son Funeral Home, 25 Fitchburg Rd (Rte 2A) Ayer. Please see for additional information. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
