Jay, So sorry to hear about the loss of your father. He was such a kind and gentle man. I'm glad I saw him driving down the road looking over the 'homestead' and I was able to talk with him for a few minutes. I'm sorry I will not be able to attend the wake today due to prior commitments. My thoughts and prayers will be with you though.

We are very saddened today at the loss of a very dear friend Jerry Gignac. He was very special to my husband Dave. If ever a man that lived his faith it was your dad. He will live in our memories forever. As he touched many lives, He was an awesome godfather to our daughter Jennifer Ruth over the years. We willbe praying for all of his family daily. Love because of His Love, Dave & Janet

Without Pop we wouldn't be all together as a team or better said together as a Family! Pop, up to where he just couldn't get around anymore, attended every racing event I participated in, critiquing my every move and giving me advice whether I liked what he said or not…he always told it “the way it was”, pushing me always to be the best! Pop in his last days told me that he was, is, and for eternity is extremely proud of me & the individuals on our team. He also said that he promises to watch over us during his absence and that we'll all meet “hopefully” in a better place! “Hopefully”…..if you knew Pop at all, was actually trying to be optimistic! Rest in peace, watch over us and Gods Speed!

Jay
Although we never kept in touch your dad and mom were like my second parents. Gerry Jr and I were like brother and sister. I remember going to the races with all of u on the Merrimack river and helping fix the motors or working at your house on the boats across the street on park terrace. My deepest sympathy on the loss of your dad
