Helen G. Cislo
of Lowell, active at St. Casimir's Church; 84

LOWELL -- Helen G. (Sztoba) Cislo, 84, died Saturday, April 13th, at D'Youville Senior Care.

She was the beloved wife of the late Matthew P. Cislo whom she married on April 21, 1946 and shared 41 years of marriage until his death in 1987.

She took several years out of the workforce to stay at home raising her daughter, but returned to work in 1988 as a cashier at Stuart's and then Ames department stores.

Helen was a talented seamstress, and enjoyed gardening, however her greatest joy came from spending time with and caring for her family, especially her grandchildren. She was also a very dedicated member of her church, faithfully attending Mass on Sundays and serving on the Parish Committee and other committee's at St. Casimir's for many years.

She is survived by her daughter, Doreen Zagorski and her husband, John of Dracut; her grandsons, Jeffrey Zagorski and his wife, Meghan and Matthew Zagorski and his wife, Heidi; and two great-grandchildren, Brian and Sadie; her very special neighbor and friend, Helen Owens; as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends at St. Casimir's.
