Loving mother, grandmother, and sister; 80
BILLERICA, MA -- Jean M. (Dowling) Everitt, 80, a resident of Billerica, MA, died peacefully at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA on September 27, 2013 surrounded by her family.
She was born on December 18, 1932, in Boston, a daughter of the late Herbert Dowling and Mildred (Morrison) Forgeron.
Mrs. Everitt was the widow of Robert D. Everitt, who died on November 26, 2011. They shared over 33 years of marriage.
She is remembered as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and sister. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Mrs. Everitt enjoyed crafts, playing cards and hosting events at the pool. She liked to travel and take cruises. She also liked to volunteer her time at the local food pantry.
Most recently, Mrs. Everitt was the owner and operator of Party Time Plus in Billerica, Massachusetts. She was also proud of her administrative work with the former Kieroff Electronics.
While living in Nashua, NH, she was a communicant of the Parish of the Resurrection.
In addition to her parents and beloved husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Edward Dowling.
Survivors include two daughters, Darlene Deptula-Hicks and her husband, Christopher of Plaistow, NH, and Laura Massei, of Nashua; her son, Frankie Deptula, Jr., of Billerica, MA; her five grandchildren, Casey Hicks, Cooper Hicks, Justin Massei, Derek Massei, and Jared Deptula; her brother, Herbert Dowling Jr. of Waltham; her sister, Norma Rufo of Waltham; and numerous nieces and nephews, friends and extended loved ones.
EVERITT -- Visiting hours will be held at the DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, One Lock St., Nashua, NH on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and 9:00 AM on October 2, 2013. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Parish of the Resurrection, 449 Broad St., Nashua on Wednesday morning at 10:00 AM. Interment prayers and burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery, Nashua.
