Jean M. (Chaber) (Sheehan) Maguire
formerly of Dracut, MA

PORT ST. LUCIE, FLORIDA -- Jean Maguire of Port St. Lucie, Florida died on November 26, 2012 at Martin Medical Center in Stuart, Florida. She was born in Dracut, MA, the daughter of the late Walter and late Julia Chaber. Jean moved to Florida in 2003 with her husband, Frederick J. Maguire.

Before moving to Florida, Jean was a parishioner of St. Rita's Church in Lowell and was employed by the Commonwealth of MA working at the Janas Memorial Skating Rink in Lowell until her retirement.

Jean, lovingly known as "Neena" to most, loved bowling, bingo, trips to Foxwoods and playing cribbage with her daughters. She especially loved decorating her home for the holidays and have family gatherings.

Jean is survived by her husband Fred, her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Jeannette Sheehan of West Palm Beach, FL; her daughters and sons-in-law, Jacqueline Nelson of West Palm Beach, FL; Karen and Martin Quinn of Lowell, MA, Patricia and Mark Nyman of Port St. Lucie, FL; Susan and David Provencher of Saco, ME; Deborah and Charles Hurley of Pelham, NH; her grandchildren, Doreen, John, Bonnie, Tommy, Debbie, Kerry, Donna, David, Michael, Tina and Tracy and 21 great-grandchildren; her sister Irene Salicki of New Britain, CT and a sister-in-law, Frances Tully of Haverhill, MA and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Jean was preceded in death by her sisters, Stephanie Wajda and Janet Ault; and her brothers, Al and John Chaber.

MAGUIRE -- Funeral services were held in Port St. Lucie, Florida. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 22, at 9:00 A.M. at St. Rita's Church, 158 Mammoth Road, Lowell.
