TOWNSEND -- Jeffrey A. Ojala, 58, of Portsmouth, NH, formerly of Townsend, died unexpectedly Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at his home.
Jeff Ojala was born in Fitchburg, MA, August 23rd, 1954, a son of the late Jorma and Alma (Jarvi) Ojala.
He graduated from North Middlesex Regional High school and Graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from Bentley College.
He is survived by his daughter, Krystin Ojala of Brookline, MA. He leaves behind a brother, David Ojala of Ashby, MA; and three sisters, Susan Wheeler of Ashby, MA, Jane Ojala of Swans Island, ME, and Judith Montecalvo of Milford, NH. He also leaves five nieces and nephews, Christopher Ojala, Melissa Meza, Renee Wheeler, Jennifer Lieneck, and Steven Montecalvo.
He grew up working on his family farm and learned the meaning of hard work from a young age. He carried that lesson on with him in his life by creating business opportunities and raising his daughter and family. The people that knew his smile understood "Jeff".
When Jeff was not pursuing his love for being an entrepreneur you could find him surrounded by his loving family and friends, his love for the ocean lead him to reside in the seaport town of Portsmouth, NH.
OJALA -- Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Thursday, December 27th at the Townsend Congregational Church, 3 Brookline St., Townsend. Burial will be private.
