NORTH ANDOVER - Jennie (Alaimo) Lipomi 86, of North Andover died Sunday at Lawrence General Hospital following a very brief illness.
Jennie was born on September 30, 1926 to the late Salvatore and Gulia (Polizzi) Alaimo and was pre-deceased by brothers, Salvatore, Joseph, and Anthony Alaimo.
She was educated in local schools and was employed as a hand stitcher at Grieco Brothers in Lawrence until her retirement. She was a member of St. Michael Church in North Andover .
Jennie enjoyed cooking, knitting, baking, and most importantly spending time with her family.
The widow of the late Louis S. Lipomi Sr., Jennie is survived by her two sons, Salvatore Lipomi and his wife Marsha (Eaton) of North Andover and Louis Lipomi Jr. and his wife Pamela (Baker) of Newton, New Hampshire. Also among her survivors are her grandchildren, Kimberly Bethel and her husband Mark, Natalie Lovett and her husband Michael and Stephen Lipomi and his wife Jean. She especially loved being with her six great-grandchildren, Brayden, Camden, Kendryn, Benjamin, Samuel, and Mia. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and sister-in-law Rita Alaimo.
LIPOMI- Family and friends may call on Thursday from 4-8 PM at the Conte Funeral Home, 17 Third Street in North Andover.
A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday at 10 AM at St. Michael Church, North Andover . Burial will follow at Ridgewood Cemetery in North Andover.
