LOWELL -- Jennifer M. (Ouellette) Pelchat, 40, died Saturday, February 9th at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill surrounded by her family after a long courageous battle with brain cancer. She was the beloved wife of Michael J. Pelchat and the mother of Michael André Pelchat; a freshman at the Greater Lowell Technical School in Tyngsboro.

Jennifer was born in Lowell on July 29, 1972. She was the beloved daughter of André E. Ouellette and his wife Linda (Perry) Ouellette of Dracut and her mother Kathryn J. (Boland) Porto of Florida.

She later moved to Dracut where she attended school and was a graduate of Dracut High School with the class of 1990.

Jen continued her education at the Lowell Academy and graduated to become a licensed beautician in 1992. She had a love and talent for hair. She was employed as a beautician for "A Head of Time Hair Design" in Dracut for 18 years.

Jen was an absolute loving and caring person. She loved spending time with her family especially her husband and son. She never missed one event for Mike or Michael. She enjoyed her breakfast dates with her Dad at Shaw's, Dracut and Rosie's in No. Chelmsford. She had a great respect and love for Linda and referred to her as her Mom Ager (Mom, Manager) and knew she would take care of everything she needed, as well as her Dad, husband & son.

Jen was extremely inspirational and posted beautiful quotes dailey on facebook, which many replied to her strength and courage during her fight with this battle.

She was also a member of the MS Team, Cocktails for a Cure and volunteered her support at the September Walk at Cape Cod.

In addition to her parents, husband, and son, she is survived by her in-laws, William and Elaine Pelchat of Lowell, Maurice and Paula Pelchat of Dracut, David Pelchat and his partner Phil Jones of Dracut, and Sandra (Pelchat) Marsden and her husband Bob of Pelham, NH., as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family would like to Thank All who attended and donated to Jen's Fund Raiser which was held in April 2012 at the Mt. Pleasant Country Club.

Jen was thrilled with this event and enjoyed very much seeing everyone.

And everyone who supported Jen's Journey Golf Tournament which was held at Merrimack Golf Course in Methuen, MA July 2012.

A Thank you with great appreciation to All the Staff at Lowell General Hospital, Mass.General, N.E.Rehab at Lowell and the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill, MA. Jen loved each and every one of you and felt she was extremely well cared for.

PELCHAT -- Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut, on Thursday, February 14th from 3 until 7 PM. Her Funeral will take place from the Funeral Home on Friday, February 15th at 8 AM followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Rita Church at 9 AM in Lowell. Interment to follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Lowell. Arrangements entrusted to the care of DRACUT FUNERAL HOME.
