PELHAM, NH -- Joseph A. Chalifoux, 90, of Pelham, NH, died Thursday morning, December 13th, 2012, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He is the beloved husband of Geraldine M. (Kunde) Chalifoux with whom he shared 67 years of marriage.
Joseph was born on October 22, 1922 in Lowell, MA. He is the son of the late Alfred Chalifoux and Marie (Hebert) Chalifoux. Joseph attended Dracut Schools.
He proudly served his country during WWII until he was honorably discharged from the US Navy.
He was the owner of Chalifoux Builders for 57 years as a contractor.
Joseph was a member of Mt. Pleasant Country Club in Lowell for 52 years, and in his free time, he enjoyed golfing and gardening and especially spending time with his family and his loving wife.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his three children, Richard A. Chalifoux and his wife, Paula of Chelmsford, Pamela Chalifoux Belanger of Dracut, and Susan Chalifoux Frontera and her husband, Thomas of Boxford; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
CHALIFOUX -- Relatives and friends are invited to DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut on Sunday, December 16th from 2 until 6 PM. His Funeral will be held from the Funeral Home on Monday, December 17th at 8 AM followed by his Funeral Mass at 9 AM in St. Marguerite D'Youville Parish, Dracut.
