Judith 'Judy' A. Garcia Graham
Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother; 81
WESTFORD -- Judith "Judy" Ann Garcia Graham, 81, of Westford, MA, died Tuesday, November 20, 2012, after a long illness.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was born on November 18, 1931 in McAllen, Texas to Octavio Garcia and Cecelia Jacobsen Garcia. She graduated from Incarnate Word High School in San Antonio, TX in 1949, and earned Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, MO in 1954.
She was a Registered Nurse and nursing instructor for a number of years before returning to school and earning a Master's Degree in Gerontolocial Nursing from the University of Lowell in Lowell, MA. She then worked at Harvard Community Health Plan (later Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates) in Cambridge, MA as a Nurse Practitioner for 25 years. She was also a preceptor to nursing students at various universities in the Boston area.
She married William Graham of Brooklyn, New York in 1954. They were married until his death in 2001.
She is survived by her son, Robert and his wife, Dorothy McGlincy of Andover, MA; her son, David and his wife, Hey Ryoung of Westford, MA; and two grandsons, Jonathan and Ian.
GRAHAM -- Friends may call on Friday, December 14, 2012 at the J.A. Healy Sons Funeral Home, 57 North Main Street in Westford, MA from 5:00 - 8:00 PM. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Catherine's Church, 107 North Main Street in Westford on Saturday, December 15, 2012, at 10:00 AM followed by a reception in the church hall.
