KINGSTON, NH -- Keith A. Woodbury, 79, of Kingston, NH and former longtime Newton, NH resident died Sunday morning, January 27, at Brigham & Women's Hospital, Boston.

He was born in Haverhill, July 3, 1933, son of the late Floyd and Barbara (Conner) Woodbury.

Educated in the Haverhill school system, Mr. Woodbury graduated from Haverhill High School where he played baseball and held the Massachusetts state record for shot-put for over 25 years.

During the Korean War he served in the United States Navy where he earned a Good Conduct Medal, and National Defense Service medal Ribbon.

For over 40 years he was employed as an Electronic Technician for Raytheon, Andover, from where he retired in 1998, and was a member of IBEW Local 1505.

He enjoyed attending classic car shows, tractor pulls at fairs and studying the history of military planes.

His survivors include his wife of 52 years, Patricia A. (St. Onge) Woodbury of Kingston, NH, two sons, Patrick Marcoux and his wife Lucinda of East Kingston, NH, Timothy Marcoux and his wife Grace of Haverhill, a daughter, Sue Smulski and her husband Eric of Raymond, NH, a brother, Terry Woodbury and his wife Sue of Hope, RI, a sister, Lois Fountaine of Bradford, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

WOODBURY -- Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his Funeral Service on Saturday, Feb. 2, at 10:00 at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. Burial with military honors will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Bradford. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. Due to the tremendous care given to the entire Woodbury and Marcoux family, they would appreciate that in lieu of flowers contributions in his memory be made to either, AstraZeneca Hope Lodge, 125 So.
