of Tyngsboro; 80

TYNGSBORO -- Kenneth A. Matuck, the beloved husband of Laurette (Ferron) Matuck, with whom he celebrated 60 years of marriage died at the Lowell General Hospital on Monday January 14, 2013. He was 80.

Kenny was born in Chelmsford on October 31, 1935, a son of the late Stanley and Irene (Lyons) Matuck.

Ken was educated in the Lowell schools and had lived in Tyngsboro for many years. He was a communicant of St. Mary Magdalen Parish in Tyngsboro.

Prior to his retirement Kenny worked as an assembler at Raytheon.

In earlier years he enjoyed playing golf. He was an avid reader and appreciated music.

Kenny had a great sense of humor and was eager to tell a joke to his friends whenever they would meet.

Surviving him besides his wife Laurette are a sister and brother-in-law, Gail and Armando Giacomini of Hollis, NH; a sister-in-law Jeannette Kerouac and her companion Dwight Jackson; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Donald Matuck and brother-in-law of the late Claire and Dennis Longtin.

MATUCK -- Relatives and friends may call at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street from 3 until 7 PM on Thursday. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 AM in St. Mary Magdalen Church, Tyngsboro. Burial in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
