LOWELL -- Louise Julia (Salem) (Caples) Snay, 79, died Saturday, December 29th at D'Youville Senior Care surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Joffre P. Snay who predeceased her in 1982. They shared 17 years of marriage together.

Louise was born on April 8, 1933 in Lawrence. She was the daughter of the late Nicholas Salem and Kafa (Abdullah) Salem.

In her free time, Louise was an avid Bingo player and loved to cook Lebanese food. She also loved her dog, CC, but her most cherished time was spent with her loving family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her three children, Christine Caples-Mallette who cared for her, of Tyngsboro, Keith B. Caples and his wife Theresa of Dracut, and Helen (Caples) Robey and her husband Roger of Tyngsboro; loving "Sitto" of her five grandchildren, Roger L. Robey Jr., Keri-Anne Robey both of Tyngsboro, Karen Caples Fortier and her husband Jeremie of Lowell, Keith G. Caples and his wife Erin of Dracut, and Colleen Caples Vurgaropulos and her husband Xenaphon of Dracut; her six great-grandchildren, Rachel, Allison, Jayden, Rebecca, Melanie, and Laila; her three siblings Eddie Salem of Salem, NH, Lillian Boyd of Charleston, SC, and Roselle Theriault of Windham, NH; as well as several nieces and nephews, especially her nephew Bruce DiGenti of NY.

Louise is predeceased by her great-grandson Zakk as well as her sister Helen DiGenti.

SNAY -- Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut on Wednesday, January 2nd from 4 until 8 PM. Her Funeral will take place from the Funeral Home on Thursday, January 3rd at 9:15 AM followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Anthony Maronite Church, Lawrence at 10:30 AM.
