Loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister; 70

DRACUT, MA -- Margaret "Peggy" (Power) Spicer, 70, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, February 6th, 2013, at Lowell General Hospital in Lowell, after a brief and courageous battle with Brain Cancer. She was the the beloved wife of Robert J. Spicer for 50 years.

Margaret was born in Woburn, MA on October 13, 1942, a daughter of the late Ethelwynne (Loud) of Massachusetts and James Power of Ireland. Raised in Woburn, Margaret then moved to Dracut where she has lived most recently.

For many years, Peggy was a nurse around the area at various nursing homes. Her greatest job in life however, was loving and caring for her family.

Along with her husband, Peggy is survived and will be deeply missed by her three sons, Arthur and his wife, Suzanne of Woburn, Gerald and his wife, Tammi of Branson, MO, and Bryan and his wife, Sandy of Dracut; six grandchildren, Nicholas, Johnathan, Devonne, Lucas, Patrick and Jillian; her sister, Patricia Paradiso and her husband, Pasquale of Woburn; and her niece, Elaine, and nephews, James and David.

SPICER -- At Peggy's request, there will be no calling hours. Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service on TUESDAY, February 12th at 11 a.m. at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT, MA. Burial will be private.
