of Chelmsford, MA

CHELMSFORD, MA -- Mrs. Marjorie L. Gagnon, 84, of Chelmsford, MA died Monday evening, December 10, 2012 at Lowell General Hospital Saints Campus.

Marjorie was the daughter of the late William P. and Catherine T. Feehan. She was a graduate of Lowell High School with the class of 1946 where she was a Girl Officer with the high school's regiment. She was a communicant of St. Mary Church of Chelmsford, MA and had been a member of the Seton Guild.

At the age of 18 Marjorie Feehan began working as a teller with the First Federal Savings Bank in Lowell, MA. In 1968 Mrs. Gagnon opened the Eastgate Plaza branch of First Federal in Chelmsford and led that branch as Assistant Vice President until her retirement in 1990. She loved her job and through the years earned the respect of many customers and made many friends. Incredibly during her time on duty she survived four armed bank robberies.

Mrs. Gagnon also loved to spend time with her children and her grandchildren.

Mrs. Gagnon is survived by three sons, Paul Gagnon of Germany, Laurence Gagnon and his wife Andrea of Chelmsford, and Richard Gagnon of Chelmsford, and five grandchildren, Richard, Michaela, Christopher, Michael and David.

Marjorie Gagnon survived her four brothers - Gordon, William Jr., Harold and Robert Feehan - and her one sister - Melba Scannell.

GAGNON -- Mrs. Marjorie L. Gagnon, 84, of Chelmsford, MA died Dec. 10, 2012. Visiting hours Thurs. 3 to 7 p.m. Funeral Fri. at 8AM from the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX ST., CHELMSFORD, with a funeral Mass at 9AM at St. Mary Church in Chelmsford, MA.
