Mark "Archie" Archibald

DRACUT, MA -- Mark "Archie" Archibald, 57, died Friday, January 4th, at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, with his wife, Kathie A. (Chamberlain) Archibald, by his side.
Mark was born in West Roxbury on November 26, 1955, son of Roy C. and the late Pauline E. (Lancaster) Archibald.
Archie was an experimental machinist and owned and operated Archie's Machine and Tool in Pelham. He was very talented and enjoyed what he did.
Archie loved being outdoors, especially, hunting, fishing, boating, golfing, snowmobiling and spending time at his camp on Newfound Lake. He was also a member of the "Free Spirits" Motorcycle Club and the Winter Hill Yacht Club in Somerville.
Along with his wife, Kathie A. (Chamberlain) Archibald with whom he was together for almost 35 years, Archie is survived by his father, Roy C. Archibald of Burlington, his brothers, Joe Archibald and his wife Brenda of Burlington and Stephen Archibald and his wife Maureen of Burlington, his mother and father-in-law, Bill and Judy Chamberlain of Holbrook., his sister-in-laws, Judy Guilbault, Diane Green and her husband Joe, and his former brother-in-law, Charlie Guilbault. He was the beloved uncle of Charlie, Michael, David and Brendan and Michelle, Daniel, Tyler and Cameron, and the great- uncle of, Kaelyn, Lillian, Madelyn and Noah.
He was predeceased by his mother, Pauline and his brother, Danny Archibald, and his beloved pets, Baron, CJ and Deacon.
ARCHIBALD -- Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects from 3-8 p.m. on Friday, January 11th at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT. His funeral service will take place on Saturday morning at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Cremation will follow. As an expression of sympathy those who wish may make a donation in Archie's name to Neuroscience's Intensive Care Research Unit c/o Lunder Building 55, Fruit Street Sixth Floor, Boston, MA 02114
