LOWELL - Mary Elizabeth "MaryBeth" Monica (Miller) Thibodeau, 64, longtime Lowell resident died peacefully in her home surrounded by family after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. MaryBeth was raised in Burlington, MA. She earned her Associates degree in Nursing and worked for over thirty years as an RN in Chelmsford--the majority of the time in pediatrics. She loved working with children and helping families.

She was quick to love and appreciate others, just as they are. She was creative and enjoyed crochet and needlepoint, word puzzles and crosswords, trips to the ocean, and spending time with her family. Her kind and loving soul will be dearly missed.

MBT as I loved to call her, always kept me on my toes and was a f Harvard fantastic resource to me when I first worked at HVMA in 1994. She was so proud of each of her children and would share their latest accomplishments. I still miss her and have her picture on my bookcase at home. My best to you all. Sally Faggella

Dear Thibodeau Family,
It was my privilege to work with Mary Beth at the Chelmsford Practice. She was so quick to seek out all the opportunities that the computerized medical record offered our nurses that would improve our patients and their families. When there was a question - we always looked to MB. Mary Beth was a quiet woman - but when she related tales of her kids she beamed with pride - and often laughed at your antics.
I am sorry for your loss and admire all you have done for your mom over the last decade of her life.

I am so very saddened by and so sorry for your loss. Mary Beth and I were good friends in high school. What drew me to her were her honesty, kindness, individuality and down to earth attitude and way of life. Sorry for a truly great loss.
