FORT PIERCE, FL -- Muriel Ellis, 89, a resident of Fort Pierce, FL, and former resident of Tewksbury, died Sunday, November 18th, 2012, at Kindred Nursing and Rehab at Brigham in Newburyport.
She was the wife of the late Donald A. Ellis who died in 1984.
She was born in Chelsea on November 2, 1923, and was a daughter of the late Samuel and Hilda (Kelloway) Case. She received her education in Revere schools and was a graduate of Revere High School.
Muriel spent most her life tending to the needs of her home and family.
She also worked for the Tewksbury school system for many years, and volunteered for over 10 years at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach, FL.
Muriel is survived by two sons, William Ellis and his wife, Linda of Chelmsford, and John Ellis of Newburyport; her daughter, Donna Ferrante of Newburyport; four grandchildren, Robin Mendonca of Lowell, Kristan O'Brien and her husband, Colin of Newburyport, Kerri Lilly and her husband, Fred of Bremen, Maine, and Matt Ferrante of Portland, OR; and four great-grandchildren.
ELLIS -- Visitation will be held at the BLAKE FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen Street, CHELMSFORD on Tuesday from 5:30 until 7:00 pm followed by her Funeral Service at 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
