DRACUT -- Paul T. "Tim" Cote, of Dracut, formerly of Andover, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, September 30, 2013. He was 51 years old.
Tim, as he was known to his family and friends, was born in Lowell on April 8, 1962, a son of Paul W. Cote who survives him, and the late Mary T. (Caveney) Cote who died on 2011.
Tim was educated in the Chelmsford Schools and was a graduate of Chelmsford High School. He went on to receive a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from UMass Lowell.
Tim had worked as an Electrical Engineer until his passing.
Tim's smile was infectious. He possessed a kind heart and a generous spirit. Tim had a terrific sense of humor, and a caring concern for all those who surrounded him.
He had a passion for playing, watching, and discussing all sports. Tim was a wonderful son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and true friend. He will be truly missed and forever remembered.
Surviving Tim are his father, Paul W. Cote of Chelmsford; his sisters, Mary Beth Dunn and her husband, Steve of Mashpee, MA, Jill Forkert and her husband, Richard of Ft. Wayne, IN, and Christina Gleason and her husband, Tim of Boston; his three nephews, Brad Dunn, Michael Dunn, and Justin Forkert.
Tim also leaves many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
COTE -- In Dracut, Sept. 30, 2013, at his home, Paul T. "Tim" Cote, 51, formerly of Andover. Family and friends may call at the FAY McCABE FUNERAL HOME, 105 MOORE STREET, LOWELL, on SUNDAY from 4 until 7 P.M. Tim's Funeral will begin on MONDAY MORNING at 9 o'clock from the Funeral Home, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10 o'clock at THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH (Lower Church), 144 East Merrimack St., Lowell. His burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Tim's memory may be made to the Jimmy Fund, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168.
