DRACUT, MA -- Priscilla "Bunny" (Lowe) Sewell, died peacefully, Thursday, January 3rd, 2013, at D'Youville Manor Senior Care Center in Lowell.
She was the beloved wife of Garfield "Garty" Sewell with whom she shared 69 years of marriage.
Priscilla was born in Medford, MA on September 23, 1924, daughter of the late Carolyn (Maiers) and Walter Lowe.
Priscilla was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved being around her family. She was well known around the community in earlier years as a Girl Scout Leader in Dracut Center, and was also a very active member of Christ Church United. She was a well accomplished seamstress, cake decorator and crafter, as well as a skilled gardener. She was especially known for her beautiful indoor gardens and orchids. Bunny also very much enjoyed her weekly card games with family and friends.
Bunny had a wonderful sense of humor and lived life to the fullest. She worked hard for her family and was always there for others. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Along with her husband, Garty, Priscilla is survived and will be deeply missed by her children, Wayne and Maria Sewell of Sparks, NV, and Cheryl and Michael Pichette of Murrells Inlet, SC; her grandchildren, Dustin and Teresa Sewell of Seattle, WA, Robbie Bouchard and his fiancée, Caroline Crawford of Austin, Texas, Jennifer Bouchard of Nashua, NH; and her two step-grandchildren, Jaclyn and Olivia Pichette of Manchester, NH. She is also survived by a very special nephew and his wife, John and Betty Lowe of Acton, MA; as well as several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
SEWELL -- At Bunny's request, there will be no calling hours. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, MAY 11th at 11 a.m. at Christ Church United in Dracut.
