NASHUA, NH -- Raymond Joseph Hebert, age 92, of Nashua, NH, formerly of Lowell, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2013 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua after a brief illness. He was the husband of the late Germaine (Ouellette) Hebert who passed away in 1980.
Raymond was born in Lowell on August 22, 1920, son of the late Joseph R. and Irene (Courtois) Hebert. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII.
Prior to his retirement, Raymond was employed as a 3rd class boiler engineer with the Lowell Gas Company. He enjoyed going for walks and fishing.
He leaves a son and daughter-in-law, Raymond A. and Carol Hebert of Dracut; two daughters and sons-in-law, Rachel and George Murphy of Pepperell and Pamela and Michael Hodge of Nashua, NH; he was a loving pepere to Raymond, Ronald and the late Ryan Gauthier, Steve Hebert and Aimee Lyles, and Laurie Finnegan and Julie Lemire; he was fun loving to his thirteen great-grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and longtime friend, Juliette Blaise and her family of Nashua.
HEBERT -- Relatives and friends may call at the M. R. LAURIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 295 Pawtucket St., Lowell on Thursday, Jan. 31 from 4 until 8pm. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday morning at 10 o'clock at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 95 Lakeview Ave., Tyngsboro, MA.
