CHELMSFORD -- Richard L. "Dick" Hill, 79, a longtime resident of Chelmsford died unexpectedly Wednesday, November 7th at Lowell General Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Judy M. (Floyd) Hill, to whom he was married for 54 years.
He was born in Arlington on April 8th, 1933, and was the son of the late Horace and Elizabeth (Ward) Hill. He received his education in Arlington schools and was a graduate of Arlington High School, New Hampton Preparatory School and Northeastern University.
Prior to his retirement, Dick was employed for many years as a loan agent by Household Finance Corporation at their Cambridge facility.
In his free time he enjoyed playing golf, watching sports, and summers in Maine.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Stephen Hill and his wife Tina of West Springfield and Jeffrey Hill and his wife Eileen of Chelmsford; his daughter Leslie Peterson of Billerica; ten grandchildren, his great-granddaughter; two sisters, Doris Hill of Arlington and Betty Davies of Sarasota, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
HILL -- Visitation will be held at BLAKE FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen Street, CHELMSFORD on Sunday from 1 until 4 pm. His Funeral Service and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dick's name to the
