LOWELL -- Robert W. Lamothe, a resident of the Centralville section of Lowell, died on Friday, November 16th, 2012, following a period of declining health. He was 82.
Robert was born in Lowell on April 22, 1930, a son of the late Joseph and Beatrice (Daneau) Lamothe.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a security guard for the Polaroid Corp. Bob was also a carpenter and a member of the Carpenters Union Local 111 and Local 49. He was also a member of the East End Club in Lowell, Polish American Club in Nashua, NH, and the Lafayette Club in Nashua, NH.
His hobbies included playing cribbage, fishing, and building model airplanes and ships.
Survivors include; his children: Denise & husband, James Gough of Hampton Falls, NH, Patricia & husband, Alan Robinson of Hampton, NH; daughter-in-law, Joanne Lamothe of Dracut, MA, Paul & wife, Debra Lamothe of Dracut, MA, Donald & wife, Maureen Lamothe of Hudson, NH, Kathy (Fontaine) & husband, Arthur Nolan of Oakham, MA, and Sandra & husband, Stephen Abramo of Dracut, MA; three brothers, Maurice, Raymond of Las Vegas, NV, & Roger of NC; and two sisters, Lorraine Garvey of MO & Beatrice McGee of NH; 20 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews; and his good friend, Barbara Goudreau of Manchester, NH.
He was also the father of the late David Lamothe and Tracy Lamothe, and brother of the late Gloria Thibeault, Alice Tarmey Peck, Paul, Leo and Joseph Lamothe.
