Jeannie, Ron & family,

I want to express my deepest sympathy for you and your family in this time of sadness and pain. I wanted you to know that I was shocked when I heard the news. Even though it has been years since I've spoken to you, I have the fondest memories of your family because we all shared many stories. After all we worked together for many years at Analog Devices and our families grew together. I am sending our love and condolences to you all. God Bless You.

Dear Olson family, My son Abe McKenney played baseball with Ron at Clark. He and his friends are very sad. They are all tight friends and will miss Ron. It's a hard lesson for them to learn and they are trying to deal with it. I know that they are all thinking of Ron and of you. Abe and I got to talk tonight and he told me about Ron. We talked about how hard it is to lose a friend. I'm sad for you and sad for my son and his friends. Please accept my condolences.

I've known Ron since the eighth grade and was good friends with him ever since. He was a small kid with a big heart, and one of the funniest kids I've ever known. He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he has touched, or put a smile on their face, because that's the type of kid he was. My deepest sympathies to his family. The memories I have shared with him will live on with me forever. We'll miss you buddy.

My son Parker Barnum lived with Ron during his sophomore year in Maywood. My other son Roy remains at Clark. Our deepest sympathies to your entire family. This is a tragedy no one should have to live through. Take comfort in knowing that he was a well respected and loved young man. Both of my boys speak of him with great respect.

Nice tuxedo kid. You wore it well. Was this before the conga line?
