Ronald E. Pelletier
of Lowell, Amtrak retiree; 65
LOWELL -- Ronald E. Pelletier, age 65, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at Lowell General Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Sheila A. (Gray) Pelletier.
Ron was born in Lowell on May 3, 1948, a son of the late Leo and Mary (Camire) Pelletier. He was a lifelong resident of Lowell and received his education through Lowell schools.
Prior to his retirement, Ron was employed as a foreman at Amtrak for 30 years. He also worked part time at Brunswick Lanes in Lowell for 20 years.
Ron was an avid bowler and golfer. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren whom he adored.
Besides his wife, Sheila, he is survived by his three children, Amy Tonucci of Nashua, Lori Cirella and her husband, Chris of Parkland, FL, and Jason Pelletier and his wife, Kathryn of Georgetown; a step son, Randy Huard of Billerica; a brother, Roland Pelletier and his wife Betsy of South Carolina; nine grandchildren, Emilie, Erin, Brittney, Anthony, Jaxson, Lillian, Preston, Madelyn and Olivia; also several nieces and nephews and many cousins.
He was the brother of the late Robert Pelletier.
PELLETIER -- Relatives and friends may call at the M. R. LAURIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 295 Pawtucket St., Lowell on Saturday, June 15 from
1 until 5 pm. A Prayer Service will conclude the visitation at 5 o'clock. Interment will be private.
