CHELMSFORD -- Thomas O'Donnell, 92, of Chelmsford, MA, died Wednesday, February 20, 2013, at his home.
He was the husband of Alice (McEvoy) O'Donnell with whom he celebrated 63rd wedding anniversary on Sept. 30.
He was born in Lowell Feb. 12, 1921, a son of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (O'Brien) O'Donnell. He was a graduate of Keith Academy with the class of 1939. He attended Merrimack College and earned a Bachelor Degree from Boston College.
He served with the U.S. Army Air Force and worked as a Contract Specialist with the Defense Supply Agency for The Federal Government for over 35 years. In his early years, he worked as a machinist at the Charlestown Navy Shipyard.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Parish until they closed and then spent his remaining years at St. John Evangelist Church in Chelmsford, MA.
He was a member of the Lowell Elks. He was avid reader and loved Politics and cars. His greatest enjoyment came from his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He never missed a sporting event,a birthday or a graduation.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his sons, Thomas Leo O'Donnell and his wife, Shelia of Milton, MA, and John J. O'Donnell of Nashua, NH; his daughters, Mary Beth Callery and her husband, Richard of Lowell, MA, and Elaine (Hopper) O'Donnell of Mt. Laurel, NJ; a sister in-law, Virginia O'Donnell of Newport News, VA; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late James O'Donnell and the late Mary Wood.

Visiting hours Friday 3 to 7 p.m. Funeral Saturday at 10 am from the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX ST., CHELMSFORD, with a funeral Mass at 11 am at St. Johns Evangelist Church in Chelmsford.
