DRACUT, MA -- Ms. Virginia C. Cielakie, 66, of Dracut, MA died Thursday night, January 24, 2013 at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston after a long illness.

Virginia was the daughter of the late William and Marie Cielakie. She was a graduate of Lowell High School with the class of 1964. Virginia received an Associate Degree in Secretarial Administration in 1966 from Lowell Commercial College in Lowell, MA.

After 26 years with Raytheon of S. Lowell, she retired in 2005.

She was a communicant of St. Francis Church of Dracut, MA.

Virginia enjoyed reading, gardening, and playing scrabble with family and friends. She loved animals, but most of all spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.

She is survived by loving and caring daughters and their husbands, Kristine and Joseph Jalbert of Lowell, MA, Sandra and Jesse Casanova of Lowell, MA and Deanna and Shawn Donnelly of Dracut, MA, a sister and brother-in-law, Norma (Cielakie) and Richard LaPorte of Lowell, MA, a brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Ruth Ann Cielakie of Westford, MA and six grandchildren, Nicholas and Marie Jalbert, Jacqueline Casanova, Keegan, McKenna, and Connor Donnelly. Virginia is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as several close friends.

CIELAKIE -- Virginia C. Cielakie, 66, of Dracut, MA died Jan. 24, 2013. Visiting hour Tues. 9:30 to 10:30 at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX ST., CHELMSFORD, followed by a funeral Mass at 11AM at St. Francis in Dracut. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury.
