LOWELL -- Christopher M. Dalphond, a Lowell resident, died unexpectedly on Sunday, February 9, 2014. He was 28.

Born in Lowell on September 28, 1985, the son of Deanne and David Munroe of Wilmington and Bruce and Joanne Dalphond of Lowell.

Chris was educated in the Dracut school system and attended the University of Massachusetts at Lowell and was presently planning to return to finish his degree. He enjoyed working in the hospitality industry and was currently working with the Outback Restaurant.

Although he liked snowboarding and hockey, Chris loved the warm weather. He loved traveling, especially to surf in Hawaii. He was talented and artistic, enjoying singing and playing his guitar.

His family describes him as loveable and intelligent with a funny personality who was entertaining to be around. A Star Wars buff, Chris requested and received his own Star Wars themed cake for his birthday this year. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

Surviving him besides his parents are a son, Atticus Dalphond; his sister, Amanda Dalphond; his paternal grandparents, Albert and Shirley Dalphond of Dracut; uncles and aunts, David and Kathy Hunt of Tewksbury, Danny Hunt of Tyngsboro, Donna and Barry Savard of Tyngsboro, Deborah Dunham of Lowell, Arthur and Frances Peters of Dracut, Karen and Phil Prescott, Sue Corcoran, all of Hudson, NH, Mike Dalphond of Dracut, Paul and Debbie Thibodeau of Lowell; Henry and Kim Gagnon of Tyngsboro; his Nana, Barbara Visocchi of Lowell; and many cousins including Sydney Savard of Tyngsboro.

He was also the grandson of the late Carol Dunham.

DALPHOND -- Relatives and friends are invited to attend Christopher's Life Celebration on Friday from 4 until 7 PM in the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street. His funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 7:00 PM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to Team Challenge, 1315 Main St., Brockton, MA 02301 would be appreciated.
