Jeffrey R. "Jeff" Judson
Devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend, 56

TYNGSBORO -- Jeffrey R. "Jeff" Judson, of Tyngsboro, died Sunday, February 16th at Lowell General Hospital following a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of Diane L. (Leahy) Judson with whom he would have celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary in May.

Born in Glens Falls, NY, August 17, 1957, the son of the late Mary Jane Liberty Jones, he attended Hudson Falls, NY schools and was a graduate of Hudson Falls High School in the Class of 1975. He then went on to graduate from Daniel Webster College in Nashua, NH earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science in 1993.

A proud veteran of the U.S. Army, Jeff took great pride in his service to his country. He was a member of the American Legion Post 247 in Tyngsboro.

Prior to his illness, Jeff was employed as a Technical Support Engineer with EMC Corporation in Hopkinton, MA.

Jeff was a free spirited, fun loving man who adored life. His love for his wife, daughter, sons, family and friends was remarkable. Jeff loved to ride his Harley Davidson along side of his "brothers", he enjoyed cook outs and grilling, the drive-in with his family, boating, Old Orchard Beach, but most of all Jeff enjoyed anything that involved spending time with his precious family. He was an avid sports fan who had a love for the New York Yankees.

In addition to his wife, Jeff is survived by a daughter Natalie D. Judson of Tyngsboro, MA; two sons Christopher S. Judson and his companion Vicky Marino of Amherst, NH and Robert W. Judson of Nashua, NH; a grandson Jack G. Judson of Amherst, NH; two sisters Jeanne Judson Stoy of Fayetteville, NC and Jessica Stoy Diffee of Florida; five brothers John Judson and his wife Connie of Alaska, Matthew Judson and William Judson both of Glens Falls, NY, James Stoy and his wife Amy of Syracuse, NY and Daniel Stoy of California; his mother-in-law whom he loved dearly, Sally "Nannie" Leahy of Pelham, NH, a woman who will forever remain close to his heart; two sisters-in-law Sally Willette of Pelham, NH and Donna DeVries and her husband William of Manchester, NH; two brothers-in-law Richard Durkee of Hudson Falls, NY and John Leahy, Jr. and his wife Kristine of Pelham, NH; and many nieces and nephews.

He was also brother of the late Julie Judson Durkee.

Jeff will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

JUDSON -- In Lowell, Feb. 16, 2014, at Lowell General, Jeffrey R. "Jeff" Judson, 56, of Tyngsboro, husband of Diane L. (Leahy) Judson. Friends may call at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME, 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM, NH from 4 to 7 P.M. on Wednesday. His funeral will take place from the funeral home Thursday morning at 9 o'clock followed by a Funeral Service in the Funeral Home at 10 o'clock. Burial in Gibson Cemetery in Pelham.
