Beloved sister and aunt

LOWELL -- Patricia Polski, a resident of the Centralville neighborhood, passed away on Wednesday morning, March 5, 2014, at the Sunny Acres Nursing Home in Chelmsford. She was 78 years old.

Patricia was born in Lowell on December 13, 1935, a daughter of the late Paul and Helen (Brennan) Polski. She was educated in the Lowell Schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School.

In her youth, Pat was a parishioner of St. Patrick's Church and later in life at the former Sacred Heart Church.

Miss Polski began her career as a bookkeeper an Laganas Shoe Co. on Jackson St. in Lowell. She then spent the majority of her years working for the Courier Corporation in Lowell and later, in Chelmsford. She retired from the Horn Packaging Corporation of Ayer, MA.

Miss Polski dedicated over 25 years of service to the Girl Scouts. She was an accomplished softball player and an avid bowler. At the time of her death, Pat was a resident of Sunny Acres where she received many years of loving care.

Surviving Pat are her sisters, Barbara Frediani of Hudson, NH, and Pauline Cabral of Lowell; a sister-in-law, Darlene Polski of Lowell; a brother-in-law, Ray Grand of Lowell; her niece, Pam McCafferty and her husband, Dan of Chelmsford; her nephew, Gregory Frediani of Pepperell; and two great nephews, Tyler Frediani and Zachary Frediani.

Patricia was the sister of the late Frances Grand and Paul Polski.

POLSKI -- In Chelmsford, March 5, 2014, at Sunny Acres, Patricia Polski, 78, a Centralville resident.

Family and friends may call at the FAY McCABE FUNERAL HOME, 105 MOORE STREET, LOWELL, on FRIDAY from 4 until 7 P.M. Pat's Funeral will begin on SATURDAY MORNING at 9 o'clock from the Funeral Home, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10 o'clock at ST. PATRICK CHURCH, Suffolk St. Lowell. Her burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
