Loving mother, grandmother, and sister
DRACUT -- Stella (Courtis) Andrews, of Dracut, passed away peacefully on April 1st, 2014, at Palm Center Nursing Home in Chelmsford, MA.
She was the wife of the late James G Andrews.
Stella was born in Dracut, MA and was the daughter of the late Lambrene (Demos) and Aristidis Courtis. She graduated from Dracut High School and attended Lowell Commercial College.
She then worked in Washington, DC and at Fort Devens in the War Department. Prior to her retirement, she was employed at Lowell Medical Instrument for 30 years.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed bingo, crocheting, trips to Foxwoods and was an avid Red Sox fan.
She is survived by and will be deeply missed by her daughter, Elaine McNulty and her son-in-law, Michael of Dracut, MA; three grandchildren, Katie Denommee of Dracut, Kristen Ogden and her husband, Jeffrey of Dracut, and Michael Denommee and his wife, Megan Reynolds of Boston, and two great-grandchildren, Lucas and Madelyn Ogden of Dracut. She is also survived by her sister, Jennifer Botts of Rochester, NY.
She was the mother of the late James Andrews and grandmother of the late Jason Andrews. She was also predeceased by her five sisters and two brothers.
