LOWELL -- Mrs. Cecile A. (Ayotte) Paquin, age 103, a former longtime resident of the Pawtucketville section of Lowell, who moved to Connecticut in 2008 to be near her daughter, died Friday afternoon, at a nursing facility in Connecticut. She was a communicant of the former Ste Jeanne d'Arc church where she had been united in marriage on November 11, 1936 to the late Harvey Paquin who died in 1988. She was also predeceased by her son Ronald and his wife Lucille (St.Onge) Paquin.

Born in Lowell on October 7, 1910, she was a daughter of the late Adelard and Anna (Decelle) Ayotte.

Cecile was educated in the Lowell School system and graduated from the former Lowell Vocation School, where she was awarded prizes for her excellence in sewing.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Gloria Lee and her husband Robert of Brooklyn, CT; five grandchildren, Bryan Lee of Washington, DC, David Lee of Brooklyn, CT, Douglas Paquin of Portland, Oregon, Tricia (Paquin) Simmers and Todd Paquin both of Pennsylvania; two great-grandchildren, Tyler Lee and Alyssa Lee of Brooklyn, CT; her younger sister, Therese (Ayotte) St. Hilaire of California; also numerous nieces and nephews.

She was also the sister of the late Mrs. Aura Barry, Mrs. Jeannette LaCroix, Mrs. Claire Desilets, George A. Ayotte, Wilfred (Fritz) Ayotte, Robert (Bob) Ayotte and Mrs. Irene Balbaton. She was also predeceased by her favorite sister-in-law Pauline (Boissoneault) Ayotte.

PAQUIN -- Mrs. Cecile A. (Ayotte) Paquin. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no visitations. Family and friends are invited to attend her committal service on Thursday morning, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford. Burial will follow in the family lot. The family also wishes to invite family and friends to this Saturday's weekly mass at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph cemetery where she will be remembered.
