Loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister; 74

LOWELL -- Florence A. (Millette) Boland, age 74, passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at Lowell General Hospital, after a long illness. For 53 years, she was the beloved wife of Paul A. Boland.

She was born in Lowell on May 15, 1940, a daughter of the late Donat and Cecile (Genest) Millette. Florence was a lifelong resident of Lowell, and a communicant of St Patrick Parish.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed in the bindery department at Pitney Bowes in Woburn for 15 years.

She was a hard worker who enjoyed playing bingo. Florence loved nothing more than being with her loving family who meant everything to her.

Besides her husband, Paul, she is survived by her children, Michael A. Boland of Lowell, and Kimberly A. DeBrum and her husband, Leonard of Lowell; a sister, Lorraine Larmand and her husband, Frank of Lowell; two brothers, Raymond Millette and his wife, Carol of Dracut, and George Millette and his wife, Ruth of Lowell; a son-in-law, Jeff Lehman of Lowell; also six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four godchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was the mother of the late Gail C. Lehman who passed away in 2004.

BOLAND -- At her request, there will be no calling hours. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Tuesday morning, May 27 at 10 o'clock at St. Patrick Church, Lowell. Interment to follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the , 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
