Nicole Paige Jacques

HUDSON, NH -- Nicole Paige Jacques, age 14, a beloved daughter of Steven D. and Nancy C. (Gilbert) Jacques, died on Thursday morning, May 29, 2014, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH, with her family by her side, after her courageous battle with Fibrolamellar Hepatocellular Carcinoma (FHCC).
She was born in Hartford, CT, on January 3, 2000 and was an eighth grade honor roll student at the Hudson Memorial Middle School. Nicole was the recipient of several awards, including the 2013-2014 Hudson Memorial School Colt Award and the 2012 Bronze Academic Achievement Award.
Nicole had a dedication and passion for the sport of cheerleading. She loved her cheer sisters and her cheer family. She proudly cheered for the Hudson-Litchfield Bears and Hudson Memorial Colt Squad. Nicole also took tumbling classes at A2 Gymnastics in Pelham, NH.
Nicole's sweet, caring and fun loving personality deeply touched the lives of those that knew her as well as many who didn't. She enjoyed the beach, swimming, roller coasters, arts and crafts, and making silly videos. Her favorite color was pink.
Surviving her in addition to her loving parents are her sister, Mackenzie H. Jacques and brother Logan C. Jacques; her maternal grandparents, Albert and Diane Gilbert of Nashua, NH; her paternal grandparents, Michael and Suzanne (Dupont) (Jacques) Mahoney of Lowell; her aunts and uncles, Gabriel and Josee Lapointe of Hudson, NH, Jeff and Jennifer Moore of Westford and Randy and Rebecca Houle of Chelmsford; four cousins, Carmen Lapointe, Ryan Moore, Alyssa Houle and Joshua Houle; her dog Sasha Bean; also many great aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
She was also the niece of the late Nicole L. Jacques.

Funeral services and burial were held privately for her family. Family and friends are invited to a memorial celebration of Nicole's life on Saturday, June 14, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hudson Community Center.
