and Great-Grandmother

LOWELL -- Patricia A. (Philbrick) Causey, aged 72, a lifelong resident of Lowell, died July 11, 2014, at Willow Manor of Lowell after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Aubrey Causey.

She was born in Lowell, March 13, 1942, the daughter of the late Ren W. and Stella (Marcopoulos) Philbrick.

She received her early education in the Lowell School System.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a Healthcare Aid in the Lowell area for a short time. Patricia also voluntered many hours at the Blaire House in Tewksbury for functions and events with her friends. She enjoyed Country and Western music, going to the Beach with her family and loved her cat Sable.

She is survived by a daughter, Sandra L. Causey, two sons, Michael R. Nys, and Raymond L. Causey, all of Lowell, seven grandchildren, Steven R. Causey, Thomas J. Hopkins, wife Brittany, Mellissa J. Nys, Michelle Nys, Michael Nys Jr., Raymond Causey Jr., and Jason Causey, four great-grandchildren, Ronald Allen Jr., Ashleigh Allen, Rena Allen and Logan Nys, two brothers Wesley F. Philbrick Sr., of Lowell, Robert Donoghue, wife Karen, of Boylston, MA, a nephew, Wesley F. Philbrick Jr., of Lowell, three nieces, Debora Potter, husband Arthur, of Lowell, Laure Angove, husband Billy, of Lowell and Susan Allwood, of Dracut, and her special friends at the Adult Care Center.

She was predeceased by her stepdaughter, Lillian Philbrick, and was the sister-in-law of the late Sandra Philbrick and Robert Philbrick.

Most of all, she loved to spend time with her family and cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

CAUSEY -- In Lowell, July 11, 2014. Patricia A. (Philbrick) Causey, aged 72. She was the wife of Aubrey Causey. Relatives and friends will be received at the MORSE-BAYLISS Funeral Home, 122 Princeton Blvd., Lowell on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Services at the Funeral Home at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be private. Funeral Directors, Frederick Healy and Walter F. Bayliss.
