TYNSGBORO -- Bernadette M. (Dauteuil) King, 75, died Monday, July 28th at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Neil King and is now at rest with Jesus.
Bernadette was born on January 29, 1939 in Lowell. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Dauteuil and Marie-Louise (Provencal) Dauteuil. She received her education in the Lowell School System.
For more then 30 years, Bernadette worked in Electronics and was employed at Piconics and at Sanders/ BAE System until her retirement.
In her free time she enjoyed shopping, watching movies, playing card games and puzzles. She also loved traveling and reading books but her most cherished time was spent with her loving family.
In addition to her husband, Bernadette is survived by her three daughters, Debra (Petullo) Carroll of Lowell, Sharon Ann (Petullo) Duffy and David P. MacMillan of Lowell, and Christina King-Boisvert and her husband Johnnie of Hudson, NH; her three brothers, Leo Dauteuil of Lowell, Paul Dauteuil and his wife Simone of Dracut, and Francis Dauteuil and his wife Dorothy also of Dracut; two grandchildren, Ryan Carroll and his girlfriend Amy Johnston of Dracut and Patrick Duffy and his wife Brooke of Westford; as well as her great-grandchildren, Cody and Jaxon Carroll. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Bernadette was predeceased by her brothers, George and Gerard Dauteuil, and her sisters Rose Pulsifer, Rita Turcotte, Maryann Turcotte, and Theresa Beaulieu.
KING -- Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut, on Thursday, July 31st from 5- 8 p.m. Her funeral will take place from the Funeral Home on Friday, August 1st at 10 followed by her funeral service at 11 AM in Tyngsboro Memorial Cemetery, Tyngsboro.
