M. Jacqueline (Flanagan) Hilla
CHELMSFORD -- M. Jacqueline (Flanagan) Hilla, 85, of Chelmsford, MA, died unexpectedly Thursday night, August 7, 2014, at Lowell General Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
She was married to the late Mr. Paul J. Hilla, who died March 1, 2002.
She was the daughter of the late Edward and Bertha M. (Reeves) Flanagan. Jacqueline was raised and educated in Lowell and graduated from Lowell High School with the class of 1946.
Jacqueline was employed as a part time Bookkeeper for several area businesses.
She was a communicant of St. Margaret's Church in Lowell.
She loved spending time with her family, cheering on her grandchildren, and watching the Red Sox, Patriots, and the Bruins.
She is survived by three daughters, Sheryl and her husband, Michael Vaccaro of Groton, Judie and her husband, David Barnhill of Chelmsford and Heidi and her husband, Thomas Scalese of Chelmsford; one brother, Edward and his wife, Barbara Flanagan of Tewksbury; one sister, Beverly and her husband, William Cullen of Chelmsford; six cherished grandchildren, Brandon Vaccaro, Shalyn Webber, Shane Webber, Patrick Webber, Tessa Scalese, and TJ Scalese; many nieces and nephews; and several close family friends.
She was the mother of the late Paul Hilla who died in 1995, and Bonnie Hilla who died in 1993, and the sister of the late Judie MacPhee, who died in 2014.
