Edward Sullivan
formerly of Tewksbury; 68
CHESTER, NH -- Edward "Edd" Sullivan, age 68, a member of a well known Tewksbury based family, died unexpectedly at his Chester home Sunday, May 14, from an apparent heart attack. He was the beloved husband of Maryan (Pike) Sullivan, with whom he had celebrated a twenty-eighth wedding anniversary this past October.
He was born in Everett in August 1948, one of five children of the late Joseph P. Sullivan and the late Helen C. (Harding) Sullivan, and raised on Charlotte Road in Tewksbury. He graduated from Keith Academy with the Class of 1966, and matriculated to Bates College in Maine, where he earned a Bachelors Degree.
He retired from the U.S. Postal Service regional facility in North Reading as a mail handler.
He had lived in Chester for the past fifteen years.
Edd loved the outdoors and nature, looked forward to the adventures of canoe trips on Maine's Allagash River. Edd was an accomplished guitarist, and enjoyed painting in oils and watercolors. He also enjoyed golf, and loved the times spent with his extended family and friends.
Besides his beloved wife, he leaves his daughters, Tammy Foster and her husband Robert of Amesbury, Jo-Ann Bellavance of Hampton, NH; sons, Joseph Titone and Michael Titone both of Seabrook, NH; five grandchildren, Meghan Foster of Arlington, Robert Foster of Anchorage, AK, Brian Foster of Ipswich, Kelsey Bellavance of Hampton, NH, and Ashley Titone of Seabrook; his siblings, Carole and her husband Richard Sullivan of Dracut, Robert Sullivan and his wife Pamela (Casey) of Lowell, Paul Sullivan of Tewksbury, and David and his wife Colleen (May) Sullivan of Sandown, NH; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

1 Dewey and 975 Main Sts., (Rte. 38) TEWKSBURY CENTER, Ph. (800 in MA or 978) 851 2950. His funeral will begin Friday, May 19, at 10:30 from the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:30 in St. William's Church, 1351 Main St., (Rte. 38) Tewksbury. Burial will follow in Tewksbury Cemetery. My thoughts are with the family during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there is a hope for our love ones lost in death can be reassuring.
