LITTLETON -- Charles H. Pickard, of Littleton, died Wednesday, August 18, 2010, at the Emerson Hospital in Concord.
He was born in Cambridge May 4, 1951, son of the late Albert E. and Mary (Condon) Pickard.
A lifelong resident of Littleton where he attended the Schools and was a graduate of Littleton High school class of 1970, and Nashoba Valley Technical High School in Westford where he did post graduate studies in the Automotive Repair department.
At the time of his death, he had been a longtime employee at StarMet in Concord, formerly Nuclear Metals, as a machinist.
Some of his hobbies included restoring old cars and motorcycles, and playing the guitar.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Therese "Tish" (Wessick) Pickard of Littleton; a son, John "Jay" McGarigle and his wife, Cheryl of W. Townsend; three daughters, Deborah A. Ogilivie and her husband, Daniel Gagne and Shannon Kigoro, both of Gardner, and Danielle Beagley and her husband, Robb of Nashua, NH; three brothers, David E. Pickard and his wife, Martha of Gardner, Albert A. "Bo" Pickard and his wife, Deb of Townsend, Daniel H. Pickard of Littleton; two sisters, Mary P. Pickard of Littleton, and Julie Pickard and her husband, Jim Paton of Alexandria, VA; and six grandchildren.
