lifelong Lowell resident, volunteered at
the Northwood Nursing Home; 84

LOWELL -- Jeanne D. (Ayotte) Brouillard, age 84, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2011, in Lowell surrounded by her loving family.

She was the wife of the late Gerard J. Brouillard.

She was born in Dracut on June 2, 1926, a daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Alma (Gilbert) Ayotte.

Jeanne was a lifelong resident of the Pawtucketville section of Lowell, and a communicant of the former Ste. Jeanne d'Arc Parish. She was a member of Le Cercle Jeanne Mance of Lowell.

Prior to her retirement, Jeanne was employed as a nurses' aide with the former St. Joseph Hospital for 20 years. Upon her retirement, she devoted and volunteered much of her time with the Northwood Nursing Home in Lowell for many years.

Jeanne enjoyed gardening, sewing and reading, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

She is survived by six daughters and sons-in-law, Jeannine Booth of Pelham, NH, Rose Marie and Paul Boissonneault of Fairfield, Maine, Alice and Arnold Muscovitz of Lowell, Lina and Robert Maio of Merrimack, NH, Gloria and Edward Nichols of Fairbanks, AK, and Theresa and John Judge of Lowell; six sons and daughters-in-law, Gerard and Debra Brouillard, Maurice and Dolly Brouillard, all of Lowell, Paul and Patricia Brouillard of Fairbanks, AK, Marc Brouillard and his longtime companion, Janet Seaboyer of Santa Barbara, CA, Leo and Theresa Brouillard of Londonderry, NH, and Leon and Jackie Brouillard of Hudson, NH; two sisters-in-law, Cecile Marchand of Lowell and Rita Brouillard of Canada; 35 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Regina Marion, Rita Langlais, Wilfrid and Reginald Ayotte, Ida Hussey, Theresa Raney, Emelia Sigman, Armand Ayotte, and Lionel Ayotte.

BROUILLARD -- Relatives and friends may call at the M. R. LAURIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 295 Pawtucket St., Lowell on Friday, April 8th from 4 until 8 pm. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 9 o'clock at the Parish of St. Rita, Lowell. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ste. Jeanne d'Arc School Educational Fund, 68 Dracut St., Lowell, MA 01854.
