HUDSON, NH -- Dawn F. O'Hare, 64, of Hudson NH, passed away January 6, 2012 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Nashua, NH after a brief illness.
She was born in Lowell, MA on August 28, 1947 to Thomas F. and Anna (Bradley) O'Hare. She grew up in the Belvidere section of Lowell and graduated from the Immaculate Conception School, Lowell High School, and the Chandler School for Women in Boston. At Lowell High she was a member of the Girl Officers' Regiment.
She worked for many years at St. John's Hospital in Lowell for Dr. Thomas F. McNamara until his retirement. After moving to Hudson, NH in the 1990s, she worked as the office manager for the Londonderry Family Practice.
She very much loved her family, her Beagle Huddie, cooking, gardening, tennis, skiing, and rooting for the Patriots and the Red Sox. She was a parishioner at St. Francis of Assisi in Litchfield, NH.
She is survived by her partner Dan Wheeler; two sisters, Linda Testa of New Fairfield, CT and Gail Barry of Somerville, MA; two brothers, James O'Hare of Newton, MA and Thomas O'Hare of Peterborough, NH; three nephews, Michael O'Hare, James O'Hare and Lamont Barry; a niece Elizabeth O'Hare; a grand-nephew, Thomas O'Hare and grand-niece Grace O'Hare.
O'HARE -- Visiting Hours are to be held on Mon. Jan. 9th from 5-8pm in the DUMONT-SULLIVAN FUNERAL HOME, 50 FERRY ST., HUDSON, NH. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Tues. Jan. 10th at 10am in the Immaculate Conception Church, 144 East Merrimack Street Lowell, MA 01852. Burial to be at a later date.
