1956-2012

WESTFORD -- Diane A. (Grenier) Gingras, 56, a resident of Westford, MA and a former Lowell resident died peacefully Wednesday October 10, 2012, surrounded by all those she loved, following a brief illness. She was the loving longtime partner of Matt Mleziva of Westford.

Born in Lowell on April 18, 1956, she was a daughter of the late Florian L.G. Grenier and Therese (Allard) Grenier.

For many, many years, Diane served her country as a civilian working for the Air Force at Hanscom Air Base in Bedford. She was a dedicated employee with her career spanning from work in the personnel department, Information Technology and most recently as a program manager.

Diane will lovingly be remembered as a person whose presence could light up a room. Her generosity and kindness was unending. Her beautiful spirit will be missed every day.

In addition to her partner, Matt, survivors include a brother, Denis J. Grenier and his wife, Debbie of Lowell; a sister, Lisa A. Prepelka of Nashua, NH; The Mleziva Family, Seth Mleziva of Watertown, Sarah Mleziva of Acton, Jim Mleziva and his wife, Rosemary of TX; and two nephews, Denis W. Grenier and Cole Prepelka of Lowell; her dear friend, "Pearl Girl", Donna Travers of Hollis, NH; several aunts, uncles and cousins in Lowell and Canada.

GINGRAS -- Relatives and friends may call at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell from 2 until 6 PM on Sunday. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 9 AM in St. Rita Church, Lowell. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford.
