BILLERICA, MA -- Catherine Mildred (Harris) Reardon passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Life Care Center of Merrimack Valley, Billerica, MA at the age of 98. She was the beloved wife of the late John J. Reardon.

Born in Lowell, MA on September 22, 1914, "Kay" was the daughter of the late James and Margaret (O'Donnell) Harris and sister of the late Charles Harris. She received her early education in Lawrence, MA and graduated East Boston High School in 1932. Kay was the loving mother of C. Ronald Reardon of Coral Springs, FL and the late John Kenneth Reardon of Billerica, MA.

Her most cherished memories were time spent with family, caring for and playing with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and traveling to Boston by train every week to shop and meet her dear friend, Helen, for lunch. She was a communicant of Saint Theresa of Lisieux Parish in Billerica.

Catherine is also survived by her daughters-in-law, Isabelle (Shayne) Reardon of Billerica and Michelle (Turner) Reardon of Coral Springs, FL. "Grandmother" will be deeply missed by her four grandsons: Sean and his wife Vikki of Pepperell, MA; Danny and his wife Joan of Billerica, MA; Christopher and his wife Cindie of Groton, MA and Ryan of Coral Springs, FL. She also leaves 7 great-grandchildren: Daniel, Amanda, Kylie, Colby, Holly, Christian and Jake Reardon.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff of Life Care Center of Merrimack Valley for their many kindnesses and personal care given to our lovely lady.

A Funeral mass will be held in St. Theresa's Church, Billerica, Friday, October 19, at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting prior to funeral mass in the Burns Funeral Home, 354 Boston Rd. (Rt. 3A), Billerica, from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
