Gerard E. "Jerry" Villemaire
of Dracut, MA; 61

DRACUT, MA -- Gerard E. "Jerry" Villemaire, 61, of Dracut, MA died peacefully Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at his home surrounded by his loving family after lengthy battle with brain cancer. He was born on March 5, 1951 in Lowell, MA a son of the late Paul E. and Claire M. (Breton) Villemaire. Jerry was a Harley Davidson enthusiast. He enjoyed trips to Laconia for Bike Week with his son and daughter-in-law, and going to Country Concerts with his daughter. He was an avid fisherman and bowler with the Apollo league at Brunswick Bowling Lanes. Jerry was a parishoner of St. Marguerite d'Youville Parish in Dracut. Most of all Jerry loved his family and the time spent with them.

He is survived by his two children, Aaron Villemaire and his wife Vicki of Dracut, Amy DeVries and her husband Dana of Manchester, NH, four grandchildren, Alexis and Lucas Villemaire and Lillian and Miles DeVries, his former wife, Karen J. Villemaire of Lowell, two brothers Paul Villemaire of Nashua, NH, George Villemaire and his wife Kathleen of Hudson, NH, three sisters, Lorraine Sylvester and her husband Dennis of Hollis, NH, Jeanne Skene and her husband Thomas of Hudson, NH and Diane McCarthy-Hall and her husband James of Dracut, three godchildren, Richard McCarthy III, Kimberly Skene Goss and Richard McCarthy IV, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. And also survived by his brothers and sister-in- law, Kenneth Sayball, Brian Sayball and Kelly Mollahan.

VILLEMAIRECalling hours will be held on Sunday November 11, 2012 from 2 -6pm in the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday November 12th at 9:00am in St. Marguerite d'Youville Church, Dracut with cremation to follow. Private burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Lowell. Donations may be made in Jerry's name to the Lowell General Cancer Center Team Walk, 295 Varnum Ave., Lowell, MA 01854.
