NASHUA, NH -- H. Alice Warrington, 97 of Nashua, NH and formerly of Lowell Massachusetts died Wednesday, November 7, 2012 after a brief illness.

A native of Lowell, Alice was born on April 23, 1915 to the late Patrick J and Catherine Reardon Murphy. She attended Lowell schools and graduated from Lowell High School. She worked at Ames Worsted Co. and General Electric Co. in the payroll departments.

Alice and her husband Percy, of Nashua, were married on June 14, 1947. They moved to Nashua in 1955 where they resided thereafter. They were happily married for 56 years until Percy's death in 2004.

While in Nashua, Alice worked as a school crossing guard for the Nashua Police Department and later as a clinician and secretary in the health department for the Nashua Schools until retirement. She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

Alice resided at the Courville Nursing Home for the last 6 months. The Warrington Family wishes to thank the many wonderful and caring professionals who made Alice's final days easier.

Alice was predeceased by her brother Dennis J. Murphy and a sister Catherine Coleman. She is survived by two sons Thomas J. and Kevin D. Warrington, one sister Margaret Lally, two brothers Daniel E. Murphy and John Murphy and wife Helen, in-laws Paul and Claire Warrington, Claudette Warrington, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

WARRINGTON -- There will be no Visiting Hours. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Church, 29 Spring St., Nashua, NH on Saturday November 17th at 10am with burial to follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Hudson, NH. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to: Home Health & Hospice, 7 Executive Park Dr., Merrimack, NH 03054.
