Loving mother, daughter, and sister; 60

NASHUA, NH -- Carol Ann (Tucker) Carleton, 60, of Nashua, NH, and formerly of Lowell, MA, died at her home, Friday morning, November 30, 2012, after a long illness.

A resident of Nashua for the past 20 years, Carol was born in Lowell on September 12, 1952, a daughter of Mary (Donnelly) Tucker Cudworth and the late George F. Tucker. She was educated in local schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School, Class of 1970. During her school years, Carol played the French horn and was a member of her high school band.

Mrs. Carleton had been employed as an Assistant Analyst Adjustor for the Aetna Life Insurance Company in Bedford, NH for several years until she retired.

In her leisure time, Carol loved taking care of children, and enjoyed camping and cookouts with her family and friends.

Members of her family include her mother, Mary Cudworth of Merrimack, NH; her son, Alan G. Armes of Nashua; three brothers and their wives, George Jr. and Lise Tucker, Kevin and Lucia Tucker and Brian Tucker; five sisters and their husbands, Gail Webster, Elaine and Mike Howard, Brenda Shank, Susan and Leon Bosman, and Theresa and Larry Senio; two stepsisters and their husbands, Dot and Bill Sperounis, and Mary and Kevin Nagle; also many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her father, Carol was predeceased by a brother, Stephen J. Tucker, and her stepfather, James A. Cudworth.

CARLETON -- There are no calling hours. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Mercy Church, Baboosic Lake Road in Merrimack, NH, Tuesday, December 4th at 9:30 a.m. Family and friends are invited to attend. Donations may be made in her memory to the Community Hospice House, care of Home Health & Hospice Care, 7 Executive Park Drive, Merrimack, NH 03054.
